The Full Circle mentoring program application is now open to second semester juniors.

The program, originally allowed only seniors to apply in the fall, but student feedback led the Alumnae Relations department to re-evaluate the program applicant requirements.

"We used to match students with their mentors in the fall of their senior year. Because the senior year can be chaotic, there was not enough connection time between the mentor and protégé," Allison Fuemmeler, graduate assistant for the department of philanthropy said.

Students are matched with alumnae based on their intended career paths. The alumnae in the Full Circle program guide the students as they get ready to head into the workforce by completing various tasks, such as looking over resumes and providing advice about interviews.

Many work in various industries, from Coach to performing arts on Broadway and are a valuable networking resource juniors may now take advantage of.

The application deadline is February 1. An application, current resume and faculty recommendation are due by 5 p.m. Mentor and protégé matching is expected to take place shortly after.
