The basketball team is a force to be reckoned with.
The team has been on the court and so far has a 2-1 record.
Last year's team, only eight players strong, is now up to 15. All eight from last season were Academic All-Conference, and two of the students were NAIA Academic All-Americans.
These honors are bestowed upon those who made outstanding academic achievements. Many hope to see this year's players achieve the same high honors.
"Our team is very young and full of excitement and enthusiasm," Coach Bill Bixon said. "We have many talented players, and this year we hope to take a big step forward in being a consistent competitor in every game we play."
